Bring me sunshine!

Hi everyone, Mary J here, looking forward to the weekend!  Those who know me know I HATE the winter so to cheer myself up, I decided to go for a sunshiney card...

I enjoyed making this card, it brightened up my day!  This is Some Odd Girl Sunny Mae stamped on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured with Copics.  I created my own background using the sun rays stamp included in the set.   I matched her up with a touch of paper from the Echo Park Country Drive Collection Kit and a hint of orange at the top using the MFT Die-Namics - Mini Scallop Edge die.

Okay, I am off now but I'll see you next week with another Quixotic Inspiration make!

A Meow-y Christmas

Good morning Bloggers! It's Sandie here with another inspiration post for you. Today I am featuring a super cute stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Meow-y Christmas.

I stamped my image onto Make It Colour Blending card with Memento black ink. Then I coloured it up with Copic Markers:
Kitty: C5, C7, C9, R12
Stocking: R22, R24, R29. Y21, Y26, Y28
Nail: C1, C3

My papers are Season's Greetings from Echo Park and they've been matted, and stitched onto red and white cardstock. Once I had everything layered up I trimmed out my image and adhered it with 3D foam dots for extra dimension. To finish off I added some 'pearls' using the Viva Decor Paper Pen in Opal.

Another Christmas card crossed off my list - hope you're making progress with yours!!
Have a creative day
Sandie

Spooky Mischief with Perfect Poison

Hi folks!  It's me - Elaine - here with another spooky card to share.

If you haven’t already, make sure you check out the inspiration from this week and enter the giveaway in >this post<. Tomorrow will be your last chance to enter the giveaway, and Delphine will be here showing off the final spooktacular make in our little event!

The spooky little lady on my card today is PERFECT POISON from Annie Rodrigue's Moonlight Whispers range at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  There really are some fantastic spooky cute images in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps range, catering for all tastes.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured with ShinHan Touch Twin Markers.

Designer papers are Echo Park Chillingsworth Manor 6×6. The stunning corner diecut was cut using one of the new Dies by SCACD designs – Alice’s Clock Statement Corner. I added a little bow tied with the help of my Bow Easy template, and accented with one of the MFT Die-Namics Halloween Charms diecuts.

I hope you have been enjoying our spooky creations this week, I've certainly been thrilled by the makes the other girls have posted so far!

Have a wonderful weekend,

~Elaine

Happy Friday everyone!  Mary J here continuing with our week of Halloween inspiration showcasing  spooky stash at Quixotic Paperie!  Today I want to share with you some treat holders that I made and filled with lollies...

Yum, don't cha think?!  These are definitely going to my niece and nephew - they are tooo cute!  I used papers from the Echo Park Chillingsworth Manor pad and more My Favorite Things Die-Namics...

Getting Spooky In Morticia's Gruesome Laboratory

Hey everyone, Zombie Kim Dellow here to give you a guided tour of Morticia's Gruesome Laboratory, please don't touch any of the bottles in the lab, you have no idea where they have been or what is inside them.

Please take your time to look around Morticia's Lab but if you should hear the terrifying klaxon, which is the wailing sound of many screaming voices, then you should know that your time on this planet has been numbered and there is no escape.

Enjoy your tour!

When Morticia isn't in her lab brewing and stewing she can be found hanging out with her monster pals in the Make It Crafty Mini MonstaGalz stamp set.

Her lab assistant Frankenstein, or Frankie to his friends, shoots pool with his monster gang on his days off over in the Make It Crafty MonstaBoyz set.

He doesn't really have a speech impediment, he just likes living up to people's expectation of an evil laboratory assistant, it was in the job description after all.

They kitted out their evil lab at very competitive rates from Zombie Kim Dellow Laboratory Equipment Supplies Ltd and their wallpaper was from the Echo Park Apothecary Collection with the extra Halloween greeting from the Artistic Outpost Haunted Halloween set.

That about wraps up our tour, thanks for coming and if you have any questions, now is the time to keep them to yourself. You will find the gift shop Quixotic Paperie's Scary Halloween section on your way out and don't forget to leave your mark in the visitors' book for a chance to win some yummy stuff.

Have a safe trip home!

Uh oh! I think I hear some wailing - you might want to run to the gift shop...

This was so much fun to make!  I am going to put it on a shelf in my porch on Halloween night to welcome those little ones coming round trick or treating!!  Okay, so what did it take to make this?  Ain't that scarey gal a lot of fun?!  This is Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Mitzi the Mummy who I stamped on Make It Color Blending Card (my fave to use with my Copic markers!).

For the base, I used Black Soot Distress Ink and then I sprayed Ranger Adirondack Colour Wash Spray in Lettuce for a gooey sheen!  Paper-wise, I used the Echo Park Chillingsworth Manor pad and of course I used lots of My Favorite Things Die-Namics...

Okay, that is it from me today - I hope you liked my scarey project!  Don't forget to see this post here to be in for a chance to win the prize giveaway!!

A Red Head

It's me. Lou. Good evening.. almost good night! HA. Perhaps some of you lucky people are already in bed. Early night and all. :) Sorry for the very late post.. I've been having major car trouble of late, and in my fluster this morning I totally forgot to get my post typed up before work. I apologise. I hope it's been worth the wait. :)

Today I've used another cutie from The Greeting Farm January 2012 Release.

I've teamed her up with some yummy papers from Echo Park Victoria Garden collection and coloured her with Copics and ProMarkers to match.

Recognise the layout?! It's the new sketch challenge for February/March. Join in with us!! There is a £15 Quixotic voucher up for grabs!!

So I'mma wrap it up there and get myself ready for bed. Another ridiculously early start tomorrow.
