Alice: Sketched

Hi everyone :)  It's Sandie here and today I have another Gorjuss card to share with you. I used this month's sketch inspiration when creating my card. You can find out just how you could be in with a chance of winning a £15 voucher for Quixotic Paperie store right HERE

For my card today I coloured up Gorjuss Alice

My papers are from My Mind's Eye, Miss Caroline: Dolled Up.  I used both classic circle and scalloped circle nestabilities to create the shape of my card, and to cut out my design papers.

I tied some black and white bakers twine around the card front, securing it in a bow. Then I adhered some leaves and flowers on top of the twine.

You can find Alice and the rest of the Gorjuss girls HERE on the Quixotic Paperie store.
Thanks for dropping in!

What a mad, crazy, wonderful idea!

Hi all!  Mary J here and I hope everyone has been enjoying the unseasonably fabulous weather we have been having recently (well, it's been good in the UK!).  YAY!!  I'm in a good mood today!  Today I'm here with a card using one of the new Gorjuss stamps, called Alice from the gorgeous Quixotic Inspirations store...

Isn't she just lovely?  I just had to do some more colouring on Bazzill Basics Smoothies kraft cardstock and this time I used a mixture of Copics and Prismacolor pencils to try for a whimsical soft look.  I matched her up with papers from the Glitz Design French Kiss pad and the sentiment is from the Kraftin' Kimmie Alice Dormouse stamp set.  Lastly, I kept the embellishing to a minimum by using the Whimsy Shapeology Banner Pennants die set.  Here's a close up of the colouring...

That's it from me today!  See you next week!

Happy Cupcake Day

Very late post from me. Again. Haven't been in the house very long today - been at work and have been tryna make the most of the warmer weather. More like tryna get my system used to it. This heat makes me want to hibernate! Unfortunately I've gotta get on with it.

So I've got a little Some Odd Girl creation to share with ya today. Boy oh BOY have I been having withdrawls from these images!! Had to jump back on the bandwagon and get one of these cuties coloured up. So I went with Baker Mae.

I've used some yummy papers from the new My Minds Eye collection - Howdy Doody collection and followed the sketch over at Some Odd Girl.

That's all from me tonight. Over and out.

Kraftin Kimmi "Rose"

Morning peeps long time since I popped on to share a card with you, so without further ado, let me correct that by sharing the devine "Rose" with you.
She is by Kraftin Kimmi and is a dream to colour :-).

I've also used the gorgeous new corner die from Memorybox, this one is called Madera Corner.
I've coloured "Rose" with a combo of ShinHan and Copic markers, the poor lass looks a tad on the pasty side in the photo but in true light she isn't really this pale..:-).
Well thats about it for today from Have a great week & happy crafting everyone :-).

The papers are from My Mind's Eye -''Love me'' collection, the butterflies are Make it Crafty Lasercut Chipboard - the ''Fine Swirls''. The flowers and tab are made using Die-namics.
That's all from me today, I wish you a great week and thank you for stopping by.

Miss Anya Lounge

Hey guys, this is going up a little later than planned - so I'ma try and make it speedy so I can get caught up with emails and (hopefully) have an early night. :) Half way through the week already, how's it going?

Today I've got a card to share with ya using some old school supplies, I think that's fair to say. See what you think. I've followed this months sketch but adapted it to fit a standard A2 size card.

I've used a cute little image from The Greeting Farm - Miss Anya Lounge collection. Love her outfit. :) I've coloured her with ProMarkers to match my papers from Cosmo Cricket - UPcycle collection. See, oldies.. but goodies, right?!

No sentiment on this card, I thought the papers were waaaay busy enough, so I've left that for the inside of the card. Hope you likey.

You've got until April 14th to get your entries into our sketch challenge. With a £15 Quixotic Voucher up for grabs, what are you waiting for?!

Over and out.
