This Sunday we have the ever so gorgeous Stempelglede stamps to ogle at!

So lets kick off with this lovely creation from Rowena Barnard using  Stempelglede Grunge Flourish Hearts set on Kraft card

Some Of Our Favourites...Artistic Outpost

It's the Quixotic Paperie 'Some Of Our Favourites ' feature and this week we have the wonderful Artistic Outpost Stamps.

These vintage style stamps are just perfect for all sorts of makes from retro modern to vintage grunge. They are so versatile and tap straight into many of the current papercrafting trends - they are definitely one of my personal favs!

I've picked out some of the design team's makes to showcase the different looks you can get with these stamps.

Starting with this wonderful card from Rowena Barnard using Serenity

Vintage Alice in Wonderland Stationery Set

Afternoon all! Hope your week is going well so far! As part of the month long celebrations forQuixotic Paperie's 2nd Birthday all the Design Team ladies are making a special project-along with all sorts of other fun days! And this is mine!

For my project I just had to play some more with my Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderlandpapers-and decided to team them up with the awesome Artistic Outpost Wonderland Collage Stamps. What better combination!

I've made some notecards-a Set of 8 with envelopes using the papers and stamps but decided they needed to have a proper 'home' so I made a box for them! There's going to be quite a few piccies so hope you've got a cuppa!

Now the Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland papers are Halloween themed but I love the dark feel to them and you don't need to be restricted to Halloween makes!

New Baby Girl

Afternoon guys! Hope you had a lovely bank holiday weekend! The Quixotic Design Team have got an exciting week in store for you this week with Quixotic's Birthday Celebrations kicking off! Keep your eyes peeled for lots of inspiring makes and spotlights!

Anyway I've popped on to show you this New Baby card that I've made with the stunning stamp by Whimsy designed by Crissy Armstrong called Proud Momma. It such a gorgeous image to colour and it's nice having something a bit different for a baby card I think! I used my copics to colour and also had a go with created a dotted background-good fun to do!

I've used the gorgeous Prima papers 'Melody' stack and used te same papers for the little flowers I punched out. I added some pearls to the centres using the Viva Decor pearl Pen in Ice White (re-stock coming soon).

Alice

Good morning! Hope your week is off to a good start! Popped along to show you a make made with the gorgeous new Stamping Bella-Christy Croll image Alice (just been re-stocked too!). I really love her style of images so just had to have a play with this one! She has been coloured with copics.

I decided instead of going down the traditional route of turning her into quite a girly Alice I'd go a bit dark;) so out came the Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland papers (LOVE these!). I cut up the playing cards to make them into an embellishment which are the Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland pack.

BBBFF

Hi all! Hope you're week is going well! Popped onto show a make with a gorgeous Mo Manningimage called BBBFF which comes with a lovely sentiment too! Mo's images are such a pleasure to colour and I must say I do like to have them in rubbah!

thought this image was just so cute and fun-it's coloured in copics. All the papers I've used areBasic Grey 'Life of the Party'-perfect summer feel to it! All the edges are stitched as usual-I don't think I can make a card without stitching! I also added some buttons-haven't used buttons for such a long time I thought it was high time I dug them all out-these ones are available here.

Austen and Gorjuss

Hi guys! Hope you've had a lovely start to the week! Just wanted to pop along and show what I've been upto over the past week! Apart from watching the Royal Wedding and enjoying the Bank Holidays that is;)

I made a card with a new Gorjuss girlie, specifically Puddles of Love-isn't she just so sweet! Digged out my fave Tim Holtz papers and coloured her onto kraft-which Elaine now stocks here.

Also had a play with the beautiful new Artistic Outpost stamps-this time Janes' Countryside and made a really simple but effective card, with some Basic Grey paper which was stitched and some inking:)

Shabby Chic with Artistic Outpost

Evening! Running very late tonight but wanted to make sure I popped on and showed you these little lovelies! I am absolutely in love with Artistic Outpost and all their gorgeous designs and they fit really well with 'my style' so it's great fun playing with them! I've used the Set 'Birds of a Feather' to make these 3 bookmarks with. personally I think a bookmark is one of the most lovely little gifts you can get-especially if it's been handmade-something you keep for years and use, and just so pretty!

All the papers are from Basic Grey and I've inked them all up also. You'll be seeing lots more Artistic Outpost makes from me so keep tuned!

Don't forget to check out all the New Arrivals at QP-Elaine's house must be a lovely little treasure trove of stash! I'm especially loving the new 6 x 6 Cosmo Cricket pads.

Sweet Serenity!

Afternoon everyone! For those who have kiddies off for the holidays hope you're enjoying it so far and aren't worn out already! Just flying by to show you a card I made with fabulous Artistic Outpost Set Serentiy-it's so fun and easy to use and a nice change from getting the copics/prismas etc out!

I used some Basic Grey papers for the background which I inked with a Big and Juicy pad and stitched the backgrounds on my trusty mini Janome mini sew. The pearls are also from Quixotic Paperie here.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mummies out there! It's Rowena here, and I've come to show you a Mother's Day card I made the other day using the absolutely gorgeous Stempelglede Grunge Flourish Hearts set. I embossed the gorgeous heart onto Kraft card-the original embossing powder colour was actually a lustre pink.

Got inspired to dig these stamps out after seeing Kim's stunning samples in the new Craft Stamper magazine using the Vintage Garden Set (now on back order after the popularity of the article!)
I also used the yummy Prima papers, Kraft card and some gesso around the distressed edges.

A Change of A Dress...

Hello everyone, Rowena here! Popped in to show you some very fun note cards I've made with my recent Paper Make-up stamps purchase!

I thought it would be fun to make some 'change of a dress cards'-they're made with the New Retail Therapy Set. All the stamps in there are such a good size too-you could happily make the images feature images on cards:)

I've paper pieced the dress with the yummy Prima Annalee paper pad. Perfect combo me thinks:)

Twinkle Twinkle

Evening! Bit late today but Picasa has not been my friend at all today:( Anyway here I am with a make featuring one of my fave lines from Quixotic Paperie-Paper Make-Up Stamps-along with fab character stamps from Monsters to Fairies they do some awesome Sentiments and just some really versatile images so if you've not discovered them yet you're in for a treat!

Today I've used this lovely sentiment which says, "We can't all be stars but we can twinkle". Love it! You can snag it here. The sentiments make such a lovely feature on a card I think!

I also dug out my Tim Holtz papers-Vintage Shabby-they're such a pretty pack! I stitched all the edges and distressed the edges and then went mad with some Viva Decor Glitter Liner in Silver around all the edges of the paper. And also a bit of Prima Say it in Crystals.

Shake It!

Good afternoon! It's Rowena here-I'm back after a little break and it feels great to be back with QP again! A while ago Elaine sent this fab Kraftin Kimmie image-Vivienne and I've finally had chance to get her coloured in and made into a card! I think this is a perfect Birthday card for a friend!

I decided to go for a classy black and white colour scheme with a splash of colour from the peacock feathers. I've coloured Vivienne entirely with copics, I also added a glitter spica pen on her hair. The flowers are made with some punches and I added a super sparkly Prima flower centre-love these! The bling I used is Bazzill-these are my favourite clear gems for sure-and with the templates they're even better!

Let Them Eat Cake!

Hi again! Rowena here! Last weekend was the new Kraftin Kimmie release which I always look forward to as I just love the quirky stamps, and the cuties too:) When I saw this card made by Elaine as her sneaky peek I knew I had to have that stamp! Along with Alice in Wonderland I also love Marie Antoinette-how gorgeous is the dress in this image-was soooo much fun to colour! I haven't made an easel card since December so thought I'd have another go-they are just so special I think! I made my easel card so the front was 6 x 6-can't be doing with any smaller than that really-there never seems to be any room left! If you've not had a go at making one yet here's a fab tutorial by Jacqui with simple instructions and piccies. Here's a front on piccy:~

The flowers I used are from the Prima E line-such fab value aren't they? I spritzed them with Shimmerz in Mudpie then sprinkled a little glamour dust over them. The leaves have got a touch of stickles added in eucalyptus, and all the pearls are once again fromPrima's fab E Line. Ooo almost forgot about the lace-I've never bought any Prima lace before until the weekend and oh my-it is so special! You'll know exactly what I mean if you've got some and if you haven't you need to!

Sweet November Easter Bunnies

Hello guys! It's Rowena (aka craftypagan) here popping in to make my first post on the new blog! Are you getting geared up for Easter and all the Spring makes this season will bring? I've only just started but I'm all stocked up! If you've not got sorted then pop check out the links in this post on what I've used on my card to stock up. No doubt the other fabulous DT girlies will be popping by in the next week with some other fabulous inspiring makes!

Elaine sent me the adorable CC Designs Sweet November Baby Bunnies and ever since I first saw Amy Young previewing them I fell in love with them-they're sooooo cute right-although I do feel that way over all her stamp designs-I just plain love her style!!! It was so lovely making a proper spring themed card with all the lovely fresh spring colours. I used a mix of the gorgeous new BasicGrey Green at Heart 6 x 6 papers and the equally yummy BasicGrey Kioshi 6 x 6 papers. If you haven't got either of these new paper pads I urge you to get em-they really are gorgeous! All of the papers have been inked with Tim Holtz distress ink in spiced marmalade. Recently I treated myself to some Retro punches and they had their first outing on this card:) All papers/card have been stitched with the sewing machine. For all your Spring and Easter cards you can't do much better than this fab sentiment set by Amy R and a bargain at £6.25.
