Hope Your Holiday Sparkles!

Hello everyone! I am back with some Christmas inspiration, and could not NOT use one of the new gorgeous Winter Fairies by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! It took me some time to decide between PomPom Fairy and Sparkle Fairy, they are both so pretty! Here is what I came up with in the end...

I stamped Sparkle Fairy on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured her in Copics. I then did the background with several Distress Inks, and to add a bit of interest, I used a text stamp, stamped several times in Versafine Majestic Blue Ink, a stencil to add little splatters and I stamped some stitching on the right. Once it was all dry, I stamped the sentiment which comes with the Kraftin' Kimmie Sparkle Fairy in Versamark and embossed it in white. As a final touch, I added stickles to my fairy's wings.

Skin: E000, 00, 01, 11, 13, R20
Hair: E55, Y21, V93 (as used by Elaine in her fantastic video HERE)
Dress: V09, 12, 15, 17
Trousers: E41, 42, 43
Boots: V09, 15, 17, W1, 3
Scarf: BV000, 00, 01, E41, 42, 43
Stars: Y11, 21, 26
Wings: BG000, RV00
Background: BG000

That's all from me today, enjoy the rest of your Sunday! Hugs,
Delphine xx

Spreading Sunshine!

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday! I hope today's little card will cheer you up - for my scene, I have chosen an image which screams happiness to me and puts a smile on my face!

This cutie is Lil Orphan Annie by Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I stamped her on Make It Colour Blending Card, masked her legs and stamped the Make It Crafty Spring Pebble Ground. I then decided to add a few branches to fill the upper space of the scene and used my Make It Crafty Spring Branch three times. Please note, these two Make It Crafty stamps are available as single stamps or as part of the Spring Garden Collection Set, a must have to create scenes. I added a sentiment from the Tiddly Inks Beach Babe Stamp Set

Skin: E000, 00, 01, 11, R20, 22
Hair: B41, C5, 7, 9

All Roads Lead Home at Christmas

Hello everyone! December is here... So are you ready for Christmas? Well, if you are like me, you are still frantically making Christmas cards... I have another one to share today, featuring Make It Crafty and Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps (which are 30% off!) this time.

For the background, I used two stamps from the Make It Crafty Winter Backgrounds collection (available as a set or individually) - Little Village and Winter Fence - very convenient since you don't even need to mask them to make your scene. I stamped Joy by Kraftin' Kimmie on Make It Colour Blending Card as well, cut her out and put her on foam squares. I coloured everything with my Copics and added the sentiment which comes with Joy. In the corner, I added a Make It Crafty Chipboard - a Delicate Snowflake, coloured with Copics and glittered.

That's all from me today! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! Hugs

Snow Day....

Hi everyone! It's Sandie here today and I have a card to share which features Snow Day Lucas from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. While it may appear to be out of season for Summer time, Spring hasn't even arrived in Ireland yet.. it's still cold!!

I stamped out my image onto Make it Crafty blending cardcoloured it up with copic markers and sponged the background with Tumbled Glass distress ink. For the ground I used a warm grey (W1 &W3) and added some Star Dust Stickles on top. For the snowballs I used BG000 and Stickles.

My papers are from My Mind's Eye and Crate Paper Inc. I've matted them with red and white cardstock and added some cheesecloth and a white doily in between the layers. To cut out my image, and matching sentiment, I used classic circles Nestabilites. I matted my image onto a scalloped circle also cut out with Nestabilities.

To embellish I added some paper flowers, a Cog Snowflake from Make it Crafty which has been whitewashed and then glittered, and some Opal pearl pen.

You can find Snow Day Lucas and the rest of Cheryl Alger's wonderful sets HERE in the store.

Come One and All - Circus Treats!!

Hi everyone! It's Sandie here today with some tasty inspiration for you.. and a sneak peek of some FUN stamps which will be available to purchase this coming Sunday from the Quixotic Paperie Store -

CIRCUS TRINKETS!!

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!! The Circus Trinkets set includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!!

This set is perfect for treat boxes and bags, and that's exactly what I've made.

For the treat bag I simply used a cellophane bag, filled it with candies and stapled the top. Then I made a cover for the top with cardstock and a white doily. I stamped the Trinket with Stampin' Up ink, mounted it on a scalloped circle and adhered it to the doily with 3D foam

For the popcorn box I used a free template. I printed the template onto white cardstock for the inside and I stamped all over it with the larger version of the circus stamp (and forgot to take a picture of it!! lol)

Check out the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Blog today for more tasty ideas!!

Thanks for dropping by!

A Meow-y Christmas

Good morning Bloggers! It's Sandie here with another inspiration post for you. Today I am featuring a super cute stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Meow-y Christmas.

I stamped my image onto Make It Colour Blending card with Memento black ink. Then I coloured it up with Copic Markers:
Kitty: C5, C7, C9, R12
Stocking: R22, R24, R29. Y21, Y26, Y28
Nail: C1, C3

My papers are Season's Greetings from Echo Park and they've been matted, and stitched onto red and white cardstock. Once I had everything layered up I trimmed out my image and adhered it with 3D foam dots for extra dimension. To finish off I added some 'pearls' using the Viva Decor Paper Pen in Opal.

Another Christmas card crossed off my list - hope you're making progress with yours!!
Have a creative day

All roads lead home at Christmas

Hello all! It's Delphine here - I am very excited and honoured to be back with my first DT post for Quixotic Paperie! Today I thought I would share a card featuring a brand I love, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! I decided to make a Christmas card, with one of the fantastic Holiday Girls - Joy!

I stamped Joy on Make It Colour Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured her with Copics, then cut her out. DPs are My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland - I knew where I wanted the house to be so I actually used two pieces of DPs to have it where I wanted it and covered the junction with my ribbon. The sentiment is Kraftin' Kimmie and comes with Joy:-)

Joy certainly puts a smile on my face, I hope you like my card with her too! Have a wonderful Sunday!
