Hey Sunshine

Today is my turn for posting over at Quixotic Paperie. :) You guys know I've recently renewed my love for The Greeting Farm stamps.. so naturally I had to go with another one of these guys for my creation today. Many of these stamps are on sale at the moment, so head on over to the shop later and check them out here.

I used a really versatile stamp today, Wild Sprout Ryan.. how awesome is he?! I know a lot of you struggle with boy cards, and this guy can make life so much easier!! :) I coloured him with the usual markers and fussy cut him out then adhered him to the card using dimensionals.

I've followed Sketch #3 on this card. You have until 13th February to get your entry in!! I have used a few slices of paper from Pink Paislee - Old School paper pad. Lush colours, again.. perfect for boy cards.

I decided to make this a birthday card, as you can never have too many on hand. So out come the Whimsy Treasured Moments Ticket sentiments set, along with the coordinating die.

To finish off this very minamalist (for me) card, I added a couple of buttons and brads and a neat little chipboard gear from MiC!! Perfecto. :) Oh, and if you're wondering what the poorly stamped ticket edges are doing.. I kinda had a happy accident.. I dropped my inked stamp on the edge of my patterned paper.. so I just went along with it and done a few more. Result. :)

Big squeezes.

Batty about Halloween??

Hi everyone! It's Tuesday and therefore my turn to share a little something I've made in the hopes that you'll find some inspiration ;)

I know, I know.. Halloween is long gone by but but I didn't get a chance to use this cutie by Kraftin' KimmieBatty and Catty - so before we see the end of 2011 I had to ink her up... and now I'm ahead for next year's Halloween, lol.

My papers are Pink Paislee Hocus Pocus and they are currently at a fantastic sale price so now is your time to stock up! I simply cut three 1.5x4.25" strips of matching papers and adhered them to black cardstock.

I have stamped my image onto Make it Colour blending card with Momento tuxedo black and coloured with Copic markers - Skin: E000, 00, 01, 11. R20. Hair: E21, 23, 25. Dress: G20 21, 24. Cat: W00, 01, 03, 05. 07. Pumpkin: YR01, 14, 18. Ground: E30, 31, 33

The fabby sentiment comes with the image, which is a BIG plus in my book :D I cut it out using Labels 18 Nestabilities and inked the edge with Brushed Cordoroy distress ink.

To embellish I added some flat back pearls.

I hope you like!

A Monster of a Card

Hi everyone! Sandie here with a monster of a card to share with you ;) This is Argus with Teddy by Paper Makeup Stamps and he is too  cute for words! He's been coloured with copic markers - YG21, 23, 25. R07, 09. W1, 3, 5 and the teddy has been coloured using R15, 17, 19.

My papers are Old School from Pink Paislee, there are some wonderful 'boy' colours in this paper pack. There is 15% discount on these papers right now so it's a perfect time to stock up!!

I cut my image out using circle nestabilities, adhered it onto a scalloped circle of coordinating paper and mounted them onto foam dots for added dimension.

Thanks for popping in!

Get on your broomstick!

Hi everyone and I hope you are all having a fab weekend!  Mary J here with a Halloween make now that it is looming around the corner!

I just love love love Make It Crafty goodies!  I used their Make It Crafty Witchy Wanda matched up with Pink Paislee Hocus Pocus papers and Bazzill Basics kraft cardstock.

For the embellishing I used Make It Crafty Fancy Ribbon Sliders with 8mm flat backed pearls in the centres and the corner laser cut chipboard is from the Make It Crafty Love Heart Swirls set topped with a 4mm flat backed pearl.  I first inked up the chipboard die cuts with antique gold metallic ink and then "tarnished" them with Rangers Jet Black Archival ink pad.  Here's a close up to show you the tarnishing that I'm pretty proud of!

No Matter How Small!

Good Morning Kim here today,
I am so pleased with how this turned out it must have been one of the quickest cards to make and loving all the colours from these Crate papers. I totally adore Horton hears a who film...  which is the reason for buying this fantastic Artistic Outpost - Think & Wonder stamp set. Featuring quotes from Dr. Seuss... A person's a person, no matter how small. Just love it!!! The Pink Paislee - Artisan Elements - Swirls I have coloured using Tim Holtz Distress Stain - Weathered Wood, I blasted it with my heat gun and it dried on very nicely!

The faux Stitching was created using the WRMK sew easy and a black fine liner for the stitches. Now I'm admiring the new sew easy heads available.... yum and check out the

Take Care

Hello! It's Kim here... wanted to stop by with a little set made using lots of goodies found in Quixotic Paperie

I used the NEW MEMORY BOX 6x6 - PIXIE papers, the gorgeous Stempelglede - Just A Note... I mount mine onto EZ Mount - Static Cling Mounting Foam - 8.5" x 11" Sheet, It's a larger set so it will take pretty much the whole sheet.
I then coloured the Pink Paislee - Artisan Elements - Frames  using distress inks and copper paint dabber. You might just see that I have used the WRMK - Sew-Easy Stitch Piercer Tool + Straight Head and WRMK - Sew-Easy Piercing Mat but just left the dentation without thread, a little faux stitching. I've added a little paper swirl from Marianne D Creatables - Frames/Swirls LR0116.

I thought it would be nice to create a co-ordinating envelope in the same Pixie papers and I added a Tando Creative - Flourish 5 to the flap. I simply applied copper paint dabber, when dry, I adhered in place.
That's it from me today, hope it inspires...
have a lovely creative day and see you again next week!
BiG HuGs Kim :)
