Some Of Our Favourites...

It is the Quixotic Paperie Design Team Showcase of some of our Alina's favourite!  Alina has such a special way with her layouts, using those DPs beautifully!

First up is her delicately sweet You Make Me Smile cards using Sylvia Zet for SCACD stamp -''Friendship Ties'' and Make it Crafty Lasercut Chipboard - the Fine Swirls set...

And how about this quirky fun new home card using the Make it Crafty Steampunk House, with BasicGrey papers and Marianne D Creatables Open Flowers Trendy (behind the sentiment)...

Our last lovely share uses one of the Beautiful Day Fairies from Paper MakeUp Sugarplum Fairy and  sentiment from the Paper Makeup Stamps set When There's Nothing Left to Say set...

I think you'll agree that Alina has such an original style!  Her soft colouring and use of papers are so lovely!  I hope she's aspired you to get your stash out and get creating!

And if you want a chance to win a £10 voucher to the Quixotic Paperie store, you still have plenty of time to join in the March/April sketch challenge here!

Celebrate you

Hi everyone!  Mary J here with a card using those gorgeous Quixotic Paperies goodies!

This gal is so elegant, don't you think?  She is Susana Loves Stamps - Classic Eyes or you can buy her in the Eyes of Dreams set of 4 stamps with a bonus stamp.  I used Viva Decor Pearl Pen and the Viva Decor Glitter Liner to highlight her headdress.  I used those gorgeous elegant papers from the My Minds Eye Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks pad and the sentiment is from the Paper Makeup Little Moments Mini set.  Lastly, I finished it off with embellishing with beads for the flower centres and a rich touch of Prima lace.

And do you like the layout?  I used my March-April sketch - if you want a chance to win a £15 voucher to the store, see all the deets here!

That's it from me - see you next week!

soRRy You feel so ickY

No, I haven't forgotten my grammar!!  Mary J here with a get well card because I just can't seem to make enough of these in the current horrid weather we are experiencing in the UK!!

This is for a male colleague and love this Paper Makeup Flubu Monster and that sentiment comes with him.  I used my fave Bazzill Smoothies Kraft cardstock for the base and papers from the Crate Paper School Spirit 6x6 pad - brilliant papers with this brilliant image!!  I also used Distress Inks stain in Picket Fence to soften the edges and papers - this is so easy to use for this technique!

And do you like my layout?  I used this month's Quixotic Paperic sketch - hope it has inpired you to play along for a chance to win a £15 prize!  Link your projects up here - I hope you can join in!

That's it from me today!  See you next Thursday but before I go, don't forget to check out the new goodies in store!

Bookworm

Hey guys, its me, Lou. Sorry for such a late post. I'm typing this just now as I eat my bacon, egg and cheese bagel.. after I managed to drag myself out of bed from the most delicious lie in ever. Best get a move on though, I gotta get ready for work soon! :)

I made this little corner bookmark last night.. in the dead of the night, after my mother had my traipsing around Asda at 11 o'clock for our Christmas shopping!! Really?! Really. I coulda cried! I haven't been in the house long enough to make anything substantial over the past few days.

I've used one of my most FAVE sentiment stamps from Paper Makeup - EVA. I keep coming up with projects just so I can use it again. :) Heehee.

I have stamped the sentiment in Rich Cocoa ink from Memento.

That's all from me until the New Year me thinks. So MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all, and ALL THE BEST FOR THE NEW YEAR!!
Take it easy and enjoy the holidays.

I haven't seen you around..

Hi everyone! It's Sandie here with a project I created using one of the super cute Paper Makeup monster stamps. This little guy, hiding under a pile of leaves, is called Leif Monster and my papers are Basic Grey's Mellow

I coloured my Monster and shaded the background with copics and used nestabilities to cut out the circle/scalloped circle. The matching sentiment comes with the stamp.

I also used the sketch from the very first Quixotic Paperie sketch challenge when creating my card. Have you entered??? Don't forget - a random winner will receive a £15 prize to use at Quixotic Paperie! You can find the post HERE

I can see these cute monsters being firmly placed on my favourites list!!
Thanks for looking.

A Change of A Dress...

Hello everyone, Rowena here! Popped in to show you some very fun note cards I've made with my recent Paper Make-up stamps purchase!

I thought it would be fun to make some 'change of a dress cards'-they're made with the New Retail Therapy Set. All the stamps in there are such a good size too-you could happily make the images feature images on cards:)

I've paper pieced the dress with the yummy Prima Annalee paper pad. Perfect combo me thinks:)

Well that's it from me-be back next week-don't forget to pop into Quixotic Paperie and check out all the gorgeous new stock Elaine keeps tempting us all with! Rowena xxx
