Spooky Sunday with the Monstaz!

Hello all! Delphine here for my last GDT post and the LAST day of the Spooktacular Week at Quixotic Paperie! Have you entered your name to try and win one of the spooky giveaways? If not, just click HERE, but hurry up, it ends tonight!

For my spooky card, I used my favourite Halloween stamps and a few chipboard elements from Make It Crafty...

I stamped the Slimy House with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Make It Colour Blending card and coloured with Copics. On another piece of blending card, I stamped and cut out my 2 characters, Dracula from the Mini MonstaBoyz set and Morticia from the Mini MonstaGalz set. Both sets include three spooky/ cute characters each. The bats, cobweb corner and little pumpkin come from the Spooky Halloween Chipboard set and I have added a Make It Crafty flourish too.

We hope you enjoyed all the Halloween makes for the Spooktacular week, I know I loved seeing what everybody did and being a part of it - huge thanks again to Elaine for having me, it has been a great honour! Thank you very much for your visit and don't forget to add your name for the giveaways HERE! Have a great Sunday! Hugs,
Delphine xx

Spooky Mischief with Perfect Poison

Hi folks!  It's me - Elaine - here with another spooky card to share.

If you haven’t already, make sure you check out the inspiration from this week and enter the giveaway in >this post<. Tomorrow will be your last chance to enter the giveaway, and Delphine will be here showing off the final spooktacular make in our little event!

The spooky little lady on my card today is PERFECT POISON from Annie Rodrigue's Moonlight Whispers range at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  There really are some fantastic spooky cute images in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps range, catering for all tastes.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured with ShinHan Touch Twin Markers.

Designer papers are Echo Park Chillingsworth Manor 6×6. The stunning corner diecut was cut using one of the new Dies by SCACD designs – Alice’s Clock Statement Corner. I added a little bow tied with the help of my Bow Easy template, and accented with one of the MFT Die-Namics Halloween Charms diecuts.

I hope you have been enjoying our spooky creations this week, I've certainly been thrilled by the makes the other girls have posted so far!

Have a wonderful weekend,

~Elaine

Spooky treats!

Happy Friday everyone!  Mary J here continuing with our week of Halloween inspiration showcasing  spooky stash at Quixotic Paperie!  Today I want to share with you some treat holders that I made and filled with lollies...

Yum, don't cha think?!  These are definitely going to my niece and nephew - they are tooo cute!  I used papers from the Echo Park Chillingsworth Manor pad and more My Favorite Things Die-Namics...

Because I used the Lollipop Treat die and stamp set, they were super fast to make - both only took me 20 minutes to make!  And there are some more generic sentiments in the set so it's not just for Halloween - I'm gonna be making lots more of these!  Here's a closer look...

I hope you are enjoying our week of Halloween inspiration and don't forget to see this post here to be in for a chance to win the fab prize giveaway!!

Getting Spooky In Morticia's Gruesome Laboratory

Hey everyone, Zombie Kim Dellow here to give you a guided tour of Morticia's Gruesome Laboratory, please don't touch any of the bottles in the lab, you have no idea where they have been or what is inside them.

Please take your time to look around Morticia's Lab but if you should hear the terrifying klaxon, which is the wailing sound of many screaming voices, then you should know that your time on this planet has been numbered and there is no escape.

Enjoy your tour!

When Morticia isn't in her lab brewing and stewing she can be found hanging out with her monster pals in the Make It Crafty Mini MonstaGalz stamp set.

Her lab assistant Frankenstein, or Frankie to his friends, shoots pool with his monster gang on his days off over in the Make It Crafty MonstaBoyz set.

He doesn't really have a speech impediment, he just likes living up to people's expectation of an evil laboratory assistant, it was in the job description after all.

They kitted out their evil lab at very competitive rates from Zombie Kim Dellow Laboratory Equipment Supplies Ltd and their wallpaper was from the Echo Park Apothecary Collection with the extra Halloween greeting from the Artistic Outpost Haunted Halloween set.

That about wraps up our tour, thanks for coming and if you have any questions, now is the time to keep them to yourself. You will find the gift shop Quixotic Paperie's Scary Halloween section on your way out and don't forget to leave your mark in the visitors' book for a chance to win some yummy stuff.

Have a safe trip home!

Uh oh! I think I hear some wailing - you might want to run to the gift shop...

A Halloween 'mini' Album

Hi everyone! It's Sandie here and I am just bursting to share a 'mini' mini album that I created for Quixotic Paperie's Spooky Halloween week. I love incorporating my favourite stamps into my minis and that's exactly what I've done with this one.

The front features Perfect Poison & Halloween Trinkets from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. I stamped Perfect Poison onto watercolour paper with Archival black ink and I used distress markers to colour her in. The papers I've chosen are Echo Park Apothecary. The skeleton paper is white but I've spritzed it with Apple glimmer mist to turn it green. I've machine stitched all the papers on the front of my mini-album.

Distress Markers:
Skin: Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy and Tattered Rose
Hair/Shoes: Black Soot
Dress/Stockings: Spiced Marmalade & Rusty Hinge
Bottle: Peeled Paint

I also used the Archival black ink to stamp out the Halloween Trinket. Then I cut it out with the classic circle nestabilities and adhered it to the front with 3D foam dots. I inked some Make it Crafty Spooky Halloween chippies and stuck them down onto the cheesecloth and tag with wet glue.

On the inside pages I've featured stamps by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, Susana's Custom Art and Card Design and Make it Crafty

This sweet scary stamp is called Oddly Sweet-Monster Flirt from SCACD. I used the coordinating sentiment and a Halloween Trinket from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Distress Markers used:
Peeled Paint, Dusty Concord & Chipped Sapphire

I made some pull out tags for extra photos and journalling.

This page features Slimy House from Make it Crafty. Again, I spritzed the background papers with Apple shimmer mist.

I stamped the image out onto my patterned paper and left it uncoloured. The 'SPOOKY' sentiment and yellow pearls are from my stash.  I also added a pull out tag on this page.

This was so much fun to make!  I am going to put it on a shelf in my porch on Halloween night to welcome those little ones coming round trick or treating!!  Okay, so what did it take to make this?  Ain't that scarey gal a lot of fun?!  This is Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Mitzi the Mummy who I stamped on Make It Color Blending Card (my fave to use with my Copic markers!).

For the base, I used Black Soot Distress Ink and then I sprayed Ranger Adirondack Colour Wash Spray in Lettuce for a gooey sheen!  Paper-wise, I used the Echo Park Chillingsworth Manor pad and of course I used lots of My Favorite Things Die-Namics...

SPOOKTACULAR DAY 1

Today I've got a fun little card to share, featuring one of the adorable characters from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps "Too Cute To Spook" sets

My tastes are fairly wide ranging, and while I love darker and creepier images just as much, I am definitely a fan of "too cute to spook" images!  These Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps cuties are perfect either for makes aimed at children or at big kids like me.

I also used one of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Halloween Trinkets stamps.  These are perfect for creating clean and simple cards without an image, embellishing treat boxes/bags and of course as shown here, for embellishing cards.  The stamps fit nicely in punched or die cut circles (I used Spellbinders Nestabilities to cut around mine).

The designer paper is from an older Echo Park paper pack, but there are some awesome newer Halloween themed paper packs and pads in stock currently available in the Paper & Cardstock section at Quixotic Paperie.  Check out Graphic45 Happy Haunting, Echo Park Chillingsworth Manor (also in 6x6), Carta Bella All Hallow's Eve (also in 6x6), and My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Halloween.  You will also find one of my favourites from last year - Echo Park Apothecary 12x12 kit with 20% off!

I also used a couple of MFT Die-Namics dies: Stacking Stars and Solid Bracket Border.

And because I couldn't resist, a card I blogged last month using another of the stamps from one of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps "Too Cute To Spook" stamp sets.

Spooky cute!  I'll leave you now, with the promise that one of the other team members will be along tomorrow with something fantastic to share.

DON'T FORGET - add your name to the Inlinkz list below to enter the prize giveaway!

Halloween Shadow Box

Hello all! It's Delphine here again to share my very first shadow box, a Halloween one!

First I airbrushed my background...

I coloured all the pieces of my shadow box with my black Copic and before putting them together, I checked my background was the right size and I used the square frame piece as a template to cut my DP to the right size too. I coloured Witchy Wanda with my Copics on Make It Colour Blending Card and cut her out.

All the embellishments I used are part of the Spooky Halloween Chipboard Set, the house, the bats, the fence, the corners, and the pumpkins... and there are even more in the set!
And that's it, simples:-)!

Gorjuss Love

Hello all! Well, it's Delphine posting here today, nervous but super excited, since I have the honour of being Guest Designer for September! I am really happy to be able to share a little card with you, thank you so so much for having me, Elaine:-)!

For my first card, I have decided to combine stamps I love...

The Gorjuss Girl I have used is called Poppy Wood and I thought it would be nice to have a tree behind her, so I added the Tree of Love by Make It Crafty. Both images have been coloured with Copics on Make It Colour Blending Card, the best and only paper I use with my markers.

No sentiment, just the heart on the tree and the heart button, supposed to say it all.
I hope you have enjoyed my little post, thank you very much for your visit, have a lovely Sunday!
Hugs
