Some Of Our Favourites...SCACD Victoria Case

It's 'Some of Our Favourites' time and we have another Susana's Custom Art and Card Design or SCACD for short to showcase today. As you know there are four SCACD ranges in the shop: Carmen Medlin, Elisabeth Bell,  Victoria Case and the newest addition to the family Sylvia Zet.

In our last 'Some of Our Favourites' we had a look at the lovely Carmen Medlin's images for SCACD so this week why don't we have a peek at the Victoria Case images?

Victoria Case - Retro Crew - 'Rosie'

Where does the week go???

How can it be Friday AGAIN??

Time to share with you some of the info of the card. The image is one of the newly released Victoria Case images from SCACD , which are available for the UK @ Quixotic Paperie. This lovely sophisticated lady is called 'Rosie'.   I have coloured her with copics. The paper is a MME 6 x6 Pad called Lost and Found 'Blush'. Totally gorgeous ! Make sure you have a chance to check out all the other fab new MME 6 x 6 pads that have been released.

The sentiment is from Waltzingmouse Stamps and the frame is SU!

Mary J here with my week's make using some gorgeous Quixotic Inspiration goodies! This week I used the super sexy, super cool Victoria Case for SCACD Femme Fatale...

 

 As you can see - lots of BLING!!  To create some interest, I used my Bazzill Jewel Templates to create the swirls with 4mm red flat backed pearls to create that beautiful swirl and used the Whimsy Friendship Ticket Sentiment for the insides.  And do you see that fabulous bow? I used my Bow Easy Template to make it before sticking it to the matting - easy peasy!   I also used a 6mm pearl for the centre of my red felt rose - the finishing touch!

SCACD Fun Collection - a card oozing warmth

It's my first time of colouring up Victoria Case image and I really went into town with shading here - I was using Make It Colour blending card and the brilliant thing abouit that stuff is that you can REALLY go into the town with layering your Copics. I am still to see the colours bleed on that card!

This image is called Thinking Of You - brilliant for all sorts of caard - I can even see it on back to school cards! The papers are from Basic Grey Life Of The Party pad.

 I was experimenting with different skin colour combo here - YR02/61/00/000, YG00, E13/15/0000. A bit unusual but works well, I think.
The fiery red hair is achieved with E07/09, Y21/38, YR18.

Those lush flourishes are a brand new set of dies from Whimsy Stamps - real versatile and incredibly intricate. And of course I used fair bit of flat back pearls - they just finish off the cards so well, I think!
