10 Minute Thank You Cards with Trinkets

Hi everyone! It's Sandie here and I have some Thank You cards to share today. I did originally have something completely different but I got a request last night asking if I could whip up some very CAS Thank You cards, so here we are :)

To create the cards you will need:
12 x 12 sheet of cardstock (you will get 4 cards from it)
My Mind's Eye Dilly Dally and Howdy Doody papers
Bakers Twine
Various Distress inks
Circle Punch or Nestabilities

To cut your carstock so that you will get 4 cards (4x4") you need to first cut a strip 4" x 12" and set aside. This leaves you with an 8" x 12" piece. Turn the cardstock so that you are cutting on the 12" side and cut at 4" and 8". Fold each in half and score. This will give you three 4x4" cards. Then take the 4" x12" and trim it down to 4" x 8", fold in half and score to make your fourth card base.

Using double sided patterened paper makes things really easy! Cut a square just a shade smaller than 4x4. Decide which side of the paper you want for the top of your card and cut it at 2.5". Use the other side of the paper for the bottom panel.

Stamp out your Thank you Sentiments in coordinating inks and use either a circle punch or circle nestabilities to cut them out. I've used Tim Holtz Distress Inks. Wind some bakers twine around you card, covering where your papers meet and tie it. Then adhere the sentiment down with 3D foam for a little dimension.

On this card I used the sentiment stamp on the bottom panel of my papers to create a background.

If the mere thoughts of CAS sends you into a sweat then you can add some embellishments, as I've done on this card - a pearl swirl and a quickly punched butterfly.

Now it's your turn! Get your supplies ready, have everything you need out in front of you and I guarantee you will create these 3 cards in 30 minutes or less!

Have fun!
Sandie
