Lara Croft wannabe!

Hello there, it's Mary J here with a card for a very good friend of mine.  Her secret dream is to be Lara Croft - yes, the game character!  I thought the SCACD Susana Loves Stamps Adventure Eye would be perfect for her! 

I stamped this gorgeous girl onto Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured with my Copics.  For the background I used the new Impression Obsession Cover a Card Leopard that I also stamped onto Make It Colour Blending Card then I coloured the inside of the leopard spots with my Copics and inked up the edges to distress it.  I also used the MFT Die-Namics - At The Movies die and stamp set along with the Mini Film Strip die and one of the arrows from the Lead the Way dies. 

I really liked how this card came out - I hope you do too!  I'm off now so I'll see you next week with another project!

Walk with Me

Morning everyone, how about a walk along the beach? :-) I thought I'd share my clean & simple male card with you today.

These two awesome stamps are by Impression Obsession, I've used my trusty Copics to colour

in the New England lighthouse stamp, then I inked up Walk With Me text stamp, don't you think  it works perfectly with the Lighthouse eh?, now being a male card I kept the embellies to a minimum and just did a few embossed lines on my score board..and topped it off which a one of the dies from the SCACD Garden corners dies set.

Right that be it from me for this week folks I'm now off to work out my finances so I can go invest in some of the new Saturated Canary rubber stamps.... which in case you hadn't noticed are now in the store on Pre-Order whaoooo!, form an orderly queue behind me please :-).
