Make it Crafty - Turning Ferris Wheel

Hi everyone! It's Sandie here with a fun project - a Turning Ferris Wheel, just one of the amazing 3D projects being introduced by Make it Crafty

I painted the larger parts of the wheel before assembly - my tip would be to not paint over any of the connections or mechanical parts until they are assembled, but you can paint/ink/cover the larger parts going around the connections. I first painted it with a white undercoat and then with pink paint called Timeless Fantasy.. and yes, I bought it because I loved the name! ;) Once it had dried I sprayed the whole thing with Spray and Sparkle so it glimmers like nobody's business - I just can't catch the glimmer on camera :(

I added some chippies, which I had painted white and onto that I adhered some flowers and leaves. I also added some white roses and 'grass' to the outer pillars

On the top I couldn't resist adding some more chipboard flourishes. This looks like a Princess Carriage to me :D To finish off I added some self adhesive flat-backed pearls.
