Choccie holder!

It's Mary J here with another make using more fabulous goodies from the fab Quixotic Paperie store!  So for my DT make today, I have made a Christmas decoration that I am going to store my all time favourite Lindt chocolates in...

I used the new Make It Crafty Santa Sleigh 3D Kit lasercut chipboard.  I trimmed up one of the Christmas Borders lasercut chipboard and glued some Delicate Snowflakes onto the reindeer.  I had so much fun making this!  First I prepped the chipboard by painting it with Gesso then I inked up the edges with some Brilliance blue ink and then added loads (and I mean loads!) of Stickles Icicles glue.  You can just about see in the photos that I also stuck on some snow white Flowersoft along the bottom.

Now I've got to hide the choccies before I eat them all before Christmas!

B merry!

Happy, happy Friday! It's Mary J here with another make with our week long Christmas theme using goodies from the fab Quixotic Paperie store!  So for my DT make today, I have made a card that holds a book token...

I stamped newbie My Favorite Things a la modes - You Shine on Make It Colour Blending Card which works brilliantly with Copics and matched her up with My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland papers.  I used My Favorite things Die-Namics Gift Card Pocket with the Gift Card Greetings and the Jumbo Squiggle die for the border.

This is definitely going to my niece, although I may replace the book token with just cash as I'm sure she'd prefer to buy herself some make up instead!

Now I've got to go and make several more for the nephews!  Don't forget to come back on Saturday for a giveaway!

Yummy stocking fillers

Happy, happy Monday! It's Mary J here continuing our special week at Quixotic Inspirations with our Christmas theme using lots of goodies from the fab Quixotic Paperie store!  So for my DT make today, I have created some stocking fillers for my niece and nephews...

I've had to hide these from my hubby otherwise they would never reach those stockings!  These are so easy to make using My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland papers and the following My Favorite Things goodies...

I'd better make another three just for the hubby now!  Come back and visit us with more Christmas inspiration this week and watch out for a giveaway during the week!

Crafty Christmas Gift Ideas

Hello Christmas Elves, Crafty Quixotic Santa here and I have a gift idea that is very close to my heart, I could say that I have a little bit of a fetish about these items!

Gift Idea Number Three

In my opinion you can never ever have enough buttons! Oh no! Bring on the buttons and there are some special offers on the buttons in the shop - perfect!

The other gift idea item is the Bow-Easy Template and if you haven't got one of these in your tool kit I can highly recommend it! It is one of those items that I always have to hand, it just makes the neatest bows.

Right, Crafty Santa has got to go and check her list seeing as she has to check it twice - just so much work!

You can use all those bits of designer paper you didn't want to throw out but are not sure what to do with or what about getting some paints out and getting your fingers dirty! These chipboard pieces from Tando are fabulous for altering, you can make little rows of houses or framed pictures or flex those steampunk muscles. The creative world is your oyster :) Perfect stocking fillers too!
