Good morning , Judy here, and what a glorious morning it is .....the sun is beating down once again on Bonnie Scotland. You see we shout about it and get excited because it happens so rarely!
Today I would like to share with you some lovely goodies available from Quixotic Paperie. Today I have coloured 'Pretty in Patches' from Belles and Whistles. I missed this image first time around when it was sold by Sugar Nellie and am delighted now to own it!
I decided to put my copics aside and this image is done completely in Prsimacolor pencils. I have kept the layout of this card pretty clean and simple. The papers I have used are MME 'All Spice' 6 x 6 paper pad. Added a little stitching, a sparkly flourish and a cute little flower :)
Thanks for popping by today. I have kept this short and sweet as I know we all want to be outside on this lovely Autumn day.......I just can't believe it is 1st October!!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Judy x

Romantic vintage
Happy Thursday everyone! Mary J here with a style that is not my usual - vintage! And I'm not sure if it's vintage enough because I don't do lots of embellishing!
Isn't this lady beautiful? And a pleasure to colour in. She is Make It Crafty Elizabeth J and I matched her with papers from the BasicGrey Curio. I embellished with laser cut dies Make It Crafty Fancy Ribbon Sliders and Make It Crafty Butterfly Leaves finished with 4mm flat backed pearls. For the ribbon, I got some seam binding and inked it with Tim Holts Distress Stains in Forest Moss, Vintage Photo and Wild Honey that I also inked up all the edges with along with Ranger Archival Jet Black ink. And that's it!
That's it from me this week and just lastly to show you other items on my shopping list that I'm starting to save up for are...

Look on the Bright Side
Hey Quixotic-ers! LOL!! This is my first ever post for Quixotic, incase you didn't know, and I've been worrying about it for forEVA! Working along side such a talented bunch of ladies is nerve wracking - let me tell ya!!
Today I am showing you a new stamp from the Sylvia Zet for SCACD.
I emailed Elaine before I typed this post and was like.. I'm SO embarrased by my colouring on this card. These stamps are totally not made for use with PM's - honestly. You gotta have mad skills and patience to colour these beauties. I'm defintely going to give it another go soon though! I must!! They're too cute not to!!
I've coloured her hair and skin using Copics and the rest of the image using ProMarkers. I've used some yummy papers from Prima's Madeline collection and added some blue seam binding with a double bow I have tied using my Bow Easy.
Well, let's just wrap this up by saying my projects in the future cannot be as horrid as this! LMBO!! They can only get better, right? :)

There are 2 sets of these fabulous mini stamps - Mini MonstaGalz and Mini MonstaBoyz - each set has 3 different characters. Perfect for all your monsta Halloween plans :)
My papers are by The Girl's Paperie and I've coloured both images with copic sketch markers.
The MonstaBoyzs rubber stamps are approx 1.9" high and perfect for tags, treat bags, etc.
*For the card I used the digi version and printed it out at about 3.5" high*
Thanks for popping by!

Handmade
Hi ladies, nice to see you, I'm very excited to be here for the first time today.
I have a little gift to share with you and I hope you like it. I've made it for a friendly lady who gave me a sewing machine about two weeks ago, because mine was broken and I want so much to give her something when we'll see each other again, of course something selfmade. And this is what I've made for her:
I've used the Make It Crafty- Sew It Up- Lasercut Chipboard and I'm totally in love with these great embellishments, they were just perfect for my gift!
The papers come from an Eline's Huis paper pack and I've used also Eline's Huis stamp set-Winter, some buttons and a paper clip from stash.
I'd like to remind you that there is an offer in the shop this weekend:

Monsta Saturday!
Hi All, Kim Dellow here with some more spooky-ness for you this week, but don't be scared he is really, really cute!
I would like to introduce to you Mini Frankenstein's Monster from the Make It Crafty Mini MonstaBoyz Set.
Sooooo Cute.
You can see he is mini as this is an ATC, so that gives you an idea of his size.
I've used him with Echo Park Apothecary paper which I've transferred onto an old book page on some corrugated card.
The brown snot running down behind mini Frank is a spot of Viva Decor Gloss Gel Pen in walnut brown.
Isn't he cute? Well he is just one of three in the Make It Crafty Mini MonstaBoyz Set and there is of course a MonstaGalz Set as well and it is just as cute! Oh yes I'm in love with these guys and you have to check them out!

Home Sweet Home
Morning my crafty friends. Today I want to share with you something that I was completely inspired by yesterday. And I can happily share it with you for my Quixotic Paperie DT day!
I have had this house stamp from Christy Croll for ages and have just been waiting to be inspired to use it! I was browsing through the mega talented Linda Heaven's blog and she had created a fantastic card with it for a class she was doing. I was so totally in love with it! I was going to link you to it, but her post has disappeared :(( So thank you Linda for the wonderful inspiration. If I ever get the chance to link to her card I will because the credit for this idea goes to her.
I used a canvas board that I got from Simply Create. I then painted the sky with blue acrylic paints and the ground with green. Whilst that was drying I stamped the Christy Croll house several times and inked with Distress Inks: Fired Brick, Frayed Burlap and Wild honey. I cut out the pieces I needed and stuck onto the canvas board. The clouds are die cuts and the sentiment is computer generated.. To create the mottled grass effect I used tissue paper scrunched up and inked it up and then dabbed it randomly to create some texture. Then there is some random stamping around the edges with different background stamps.
Thank for your visit today!
Please let me know if you have this stamp and I would love to come see what you have created with it!
have a great weekend !

{Giggles}
It's Thursday so my day - Mary J - with a card using some faves from the Quixotic Inspiration store!
This is one of The Greeting Farm's Miss Anya Hats Off - isn't she beautiful? I really do think she's having a secret giggle about something, don't you?! I used Bazzill Basics Smoothie kraft cardstock for the card base and matched her up with papers from the Cosmo Cricket Social Club paper pad.
For the embellishing, I created the shabby chic flowers with the Marianne D Creatables Chinese Rose dies with 6mm beads for the centres. The leaf is from the Make It Crafty Butterfly Leaves lasercut dies set that I stained with Distress Stain in Forest Moss. I used Distress Stain in Antique Linen around the edges of EVERYTHING except that cute little lady!
I'm really pleased with the way she came out! Other faves on my shopping list are:

Sylvia Zet for SCACD Stamps!
I didn't get much chance to shout about the arrival of the gorgeous Sylvia Zet stamps from SCACD Stamps a couple of weeks ago - the first delivery was snapped up before lunchtime on release day!
The second delivery has now arrived, so here I am, shouting! These stamps are adorable and so much fun if you enjoy colouring. Well worth a look, or two. ;) Pre-orders are being dispatched, so those of you waiting, be sure to keep an eye out for that postman!
Some of the lucky crafters to snap up stamps from the first delivery have been playing already. Today I'd like to share a couple of stunning cards created by the lovely NICOLE.
Beautiful colouring and gorgeous card design in a soft vintage style - love them! Thank you for letting me share your work, Nicole!
If you've been playing with the new stamps, make sure you let us know, we would love to see!

Fox Gloves by Gorjuss
Morning my crafty readers!
How things??? Thanks for popping by. Today I have to share with you some gorgeous goodies from Quixotic Paperie.
I have stamped on kraft and coloured with pencils this beautiful wintry image from the Gorjuss range. It is called Fox Gloves. I really wanted to stamp onto kraft as you can really show the brilliance of the snow by colouring it with prisma pencils. Once the image was coloured and I was happy with it, I then added tiny dabs of PVA glue wher I wanted some sparkle and covered it with some Glamour Dust.
The papers I have used are from a range from Bo Bunny that I purchased last year. I am commiting myself to not buying any more Christmas papers till I use up the mounds I have from last year and the year before that and maybe even the year before that!
I have also added a couple of Make It Crafty Chipboard Snowflakes which have been covered with Picket Fence Crackle Paint. Also, something I am delighted to have found, which is new to me...but may not be to all of you is Picket Fence Distress Stain!! Wow...I edged all of my papers with this! So quick and dries in an instant! Elaine if you are reading this....you REALLY need to stock this. It is perfect for the winter season
Thanks guys for stopping by today . I really appreciate your visit.
Have a wonderful day,
Judy

Wishful thinking
Hello all! Mary J with a make using some of my current faves in the Quixotic Inspiration store!
This is Mo Manning for Stamping Bella called Rae with Journal stamp. The sentiment inside the card is from the Paper Makeup Little Moments Mini Sentiment set. I used Bazzill kraft cardstock for the card base and papers from Cosmo Cricket Togetherness paper pad. I created the flower using my Marianne D Chinese Rose die and used the leaves die for the Marianne D Flower and Leaf dies with beads for the flower centres.
Don't forget to check out the yummy new stock too, including pre-orders of the gorgeous new Sylvia Zet for SCACD stamps!

Meet Lord Skeleton...
Hey people it is Kim Dellow here and I'm going all Halloweeny at the moment! You don't need to look away as there are no spiders on this one but there is a gentleman Skeleton! He is from the Artistic Outpost Haunted Halloween stamp set and when I first saw him I knew that I had to have him!
I've matched him with the fabulous Echo Park Apothecary papers and some chaotic stitchery.
If you look carefully you might see that the sentiment, also from the Artistic Outpost Haunted Halloween stamp set, is in fact hanging from a thread and is free to swing eerily around the front of the card.
When you pick up your Artistic Outpost stamps don't forget to get some EZ Mount as well.
Have a super scary Saturday.
