Elisabeth Bell's World - Challenge Blog

At Quixotic Paperie I stock quite a number of gorgeous stamps illustrated by Elisabeth Bell.  I have stamps available from SCACD Stamps, Belles 'n Whistles and Ladybug & Friends.  You can also browse all of the Elisabeth Bell illustrated designs in the Shop By Artist sub-section!

So, I was thrilled to see that Elisabeth's Digi Bells design team (led by the fabulously talented duo Janiel and Lynda) have created a dedicated Elisabeth Bell challenge blog - Elisabeth Bell's World.  The challenges are monthly, so there is plenty of time to join in and you can enter more than once if you feel like it!  The very first challenge is currently up and running until 22nd November 2010.

So no excuses!  Get those beautiful Elisabeth Bell stamps out (or buy the ones you've had your eye on!) and join in the creative fun.  You can use an Elisabeth Bell image from any company (check the challenge post for full rules), and there are plenty on offer in the UK here at Quixotic Paperie.

My fabulous friend Susana at SCACD has a new release coming soon, featuring a brand new artist!  You will have to wait until release day on 29th October to find out all the details, but I can tell you that this new to the scene artist is fantastic!  She illustrates in a range of styles, and her work is truly beautiful. 

Susana is calling this first collection "Reflections", which I think is a lovely and very fitting name. 

There are SEVEN gorgeous stamps, and as usual there will be a full collection sheet with a couple of bonus freebie stamps.  AND even better, for the first time, the collection sheet will be available in the UK from Quixotic Paperie!

There will be a big blog hop on Friday October 29th, featuring the SCACD DT and the Quixotic Paperie DT, along with some fantastic special guests!  I'm very excited to see what everyone has done with the stamps, and I can't wait to share my make with you all.  There will be some fab prizes along the hop too, so make sure you pop the date in your diaries and play along.

What The DT Have Been Up To...

Ok so this isn't a kiss and tell on the daily goings on in the life of the Quixotic Paperie Design Team but it is a little catch-up on what the DT have been making over the past week or two! Of course if there is any juicy gossip we could always turn it into a spill the beans post instead...LOL!

So what have we got for you today?

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps October Release & Yummy Pink Paislee Stash!

The fabulous new festive release from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is now in stock at Quixotic Paperie!  There are SIX brilliant new stamps designed by Annie Rodrigue, and each one comes with a fab accompanying sentiment AND accessory stamp!

As always, these are so much fun to colour up, and make for projects that are absolutely filled with character!

Stempelglede - Inspiration & Brand New Stamps On Pre-Order!

Hope the week is off to a good start for all of you!

Firstly, I'd like to mention something I meant to post about a couple of weeks ago.  Many of you will have now seen the latest issue of Craft Stamper magazine (Nov 2010), but in case you haven't, you may want to check it out to see some fantastic inspiration using the Stempelglede Angelic Greetings Stamp Set!  You will see a couple of cards from me and some gorgeous creations from the other designers.

The Angelic Greetings Stamp Set is currently out of stock, but is currently on order and expected to arrive in late October/early November.  If you would like to reserve this or any other set, just drop me an email.

Today sees the release of some gorgeous new designs from Stempelglede.  There are two new sets - Vintage Garden and Just A Note.  Vintage Garden is a stunning collection of 7 stamps, including beautiful scrolls and two lovely images.  Just A Note is a collection of 12 stunning sentiments, beautifully designed to enhance your creations.  In addition, there is a new single wording stamp - Magic.  I absolutely love this one and have already got lots of plans for using it!

These stamps are now available to pre-order at Quixotic Paperie.  Please note that they are expected in stock in Early November, and so should be ordered separately from any urgently required items.

Okiedokie, it's a double whammy today.  As you know, we are now switching to a monthly challenge for Quixotic Challenges.  Our first monthly challenge will be posted on Wednesday, and the lovely Kim Dellow will be taking over the role of coordinating the challenges each month.
