Quixotic Challenge #4: Tearing

Thank you to everyone who played along with last week's challenge, the creations are all gorgeous.  The DT and I truly love checking out all your work.

Today sees the start of our fourth challenge.  This week we would like to see....

*** Tearing ***

We would like you to create a project that features tearing e.g torn edges, ripped up paper pieces, simple as that!  

This could be a card, a tag, an altered item, a scrapbook page, anything you fancy!

This one has been set by Kim, so, if you're like me and wince when tearing into your designer papers, blame her!

Remember, you are free to combine this challenge with any others that allow you to do so!

The prize at the end of this month (to be drawn at the beginning of December) will be a £20 Gift Certificate for Quixotic Paperie!  Just in time for the lucky winner to indulge in a crafty treat for Christmas!

Quixotic Challenge #3: Colour Combo - Kraft & Red

Once again, I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who played along with last week's challenge.  The DT and I are excited to see so many of you joining in with us!

Just a quick note before I talk about today's challenge.  Please do check the challenge guidelines over in the sidebar.  Entries are limited to one per person each week.  That way, if you enter each week, you will have multiple chances in the monthly draw!

Today sees the start of our third challenge.  This time we've got a colour combo for you, chosen by Judy!

*** Kraft & Red ***

We would like you to create a project that features the colour combo Kraft & Red.  

This could be a card, a tag, an altered item, a scrapbook page, anything you fancy!

NOTE: If you don't have Kraft, feel free to substitute with any brown card stock you have!

The Quixotic Challenges team (including myself) have been a bit under the weather this last week or so.  So before I show you the creations for this week, I'd like to send lots of well wishes to Martine who has just come down with the dreaded flu, and to Rowena who has also been suffering with flu recently.  Feel better soon, both of you!

Welcome to Quixotic Challenges!

We've been talking about this for a while, the Quixotic Paperie Design Team and I, and finally here we are!

Welcome to the Quixotic Challenges blog!

Challenges will be running every Wednesday, starting on Wednesday 4th November 2009, which also happens to be my birthday!

There will be a monthly prize, provided by Quixotic Paperie. The prize will be drawn from all the entries over the course of the month, so if you enter every week you have more chances to win!

The guidelines for the challenges are in the sidebar, as are links to the challenge Design Team blogs!

The Quixotic Paperie DT are being joined by the lovely Martine, who is also our Miss November (guest designer) over at Quixotic Paperie! Hopefully we will all be able to bring you plenty of inspiration over the coming weeks.
